Background
The Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers’ Compensation, is seeking to enter into an agreement with UpToDate Wolters Kluwer Clinical Drug Information, Inc. for a subscription service that serves as a reference/resource in determining appropriate reimbursement amounts for pharmaceutical services provided to injured workers. This initiative is in compliance with Florida Statutes, specifically section 440.13(12)(h).

Work Details
The contract involves annual access to the Wolters Kluwer UpToDate Inc.’s Medi-Span Master Drug Database via an online subscription. This database is essential for calculating average wholesale prices for pharmaceuticals used in the treatment of injured workers.

The subscription will cover 13 users over a three-year period, with specific annual license fees as follows:
- 1st year (Sep 15, 2025 – Sep 14, 2026) at $50,778.92;
- 2nd year (Sep 15, 2026 – Sep 14, 2027) at $53,317.85;
- 3rd year (Sep 15, 2027 – Sep 14, 2028) at $55,983.73.

The total cost for the three years will be $160,080.50.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from September 15, 2025 to September 14, 2028.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed online and accessible from any location where users can connect to the internet.
