Lazzara Performance Hall Lighting & Sound Upgrade

Background
The University of North Florida (UNF) is issuing a competitive solicitation for the services of a qualified General Contractor or Electrical Contractor.
The goal of this contract is to complete lighting and sound upgrades at the Lazzara Performance Hall located on the UNF campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
This project aims to enhance the performance capabilities of the hall, aligning with UNF's mission to provide quality educational and cultural experiences.

Work Details
The scope of work includes all labor, materials, and supervision required for the lighting and sound upgrade for the performance hall.
The awarded contractor must be experienced in theater lighting and sound construction and installation.
Specific tasks include:
- Upgrading existing lighting systems with modern fixtures suitable for performance settings.
- Installing advanced sound systems to improve audio quality during events.
- Compliance with construction drawings and specifications manuals provided under Buyer attachments, which include detailed drawings necessary for execution.

Period of Performance
Substantial completion shall be achieved within 90 calendar days of the notice to proceed, with final completion required within 20 calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Lazzara Performance Hall located on the Fine Arts Center (Building 45), Unit 2400, at 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
