Background
The Florida Department of Corrections, Office of Community Corrections, is seeking proposals for lease space to establish a Probation and Parole Office in Lakeland, Florida. The goal is to find an existing building that meets specific requirements for size, location, and suitability for supervising high-risk offenders.

Work Details
The Department requires a minimum of 4,729 square feet and a maximum of 4,999 square feet of net rentable space. The offered space must be in an existing building that is enclosed with a roof system and exterior walls. The space should be suitable for occupancy or renovation without replacement.

The lease will commence on November 1, 2026, and the successful Offeror must ensure the space is ready for occupancy by October 26, 2026. Services provided by the Offeror include all necessary build-out and cleanup, utilities payment, trash removal, maintenance services (interior and exterior), janitorial services, pest control, security services, and other related services as outlined in the Quote Submittal Package (QSP). Additionally, the Offeror must provide documentation proving compliance with zoning laws for the intended use as a Probation and Parole Office.

Period of Performance
The lease term will be eight years from occupancy with two options for five-year renewals. The effective date of the lease is November 1, 2026.

Lakeland, Polk County, Florida.
