Food, Beverage and Retail Concession Agreement PBIA

Background
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP # PB 24-10) for a Food, Beverage, and Retail Concession Agreement at the Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The goal of this RFP is to solicit proposals from experienced and qualified parties for the design, development, permitting, construction, operation, management, and maintenance of food, beverage, and retail concessions at PBI. This initiative aims to enhance customer experience by providing diverse dining and shopping options that reflect local culture and sustainability practices.

Work Details
The contract involves two separate concession packages:

- Package 1 includes all Concourse B Concession Units and pre-security locations.
- Package 2 includes all Concourse C Concession Units and pre-security locations.

Proposers must submit separate proposals for each package. Key requirements include:
- Development of various concession units including QSRs (Quick Service Restaurants), casual dining options, retail spaces, and vending locations.
- Each unit must have a proposed brand/concept with an alternate proposal for specific categories such as QSRs and casual dining.
- The proposal should include innovative designs that create a sense of place and highlight local products.
- A minimum capital investment of $5 million is required, with additional mid-term investment commitments.
- Proposers must demonstrate experience in managing airport concessions at comparably sized airports.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the effective date of the concession agreement approved by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. The primary term will last for ten years following the Date of Beneficial Occupancy, which occurs no later than 180 days after the transfer date of the final concession unit.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Palm Beach International Airport located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
