Florida Forest Service Road Material - Region One

Background
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) seeks competitive bids to establish fixed rate Term Agreements for the purchase and delivery of road material in Florida Forest Service (FFS) Region One. This initiative aims to support the agency's mission in managing state forests and recreation areas effectively. The solicitation is governed by Chapter 287, Florida Statutes, and Rule 60A-1, Florida Administrative Code.

Work Details
Vendors will be required to supply various types of road materials at a per ton unit price for all State Forest and Recreation Areas within the awarded District location. The materials include:

A) Hardpan
B) Limestone
C) Clay
D) Clay (60%) / Sand (40%) Mix
E) Shell (no clay mixed)
F) Millings (first run only)
G) Pea Gravel
H) #57 Stone (approx. ½” to 1 ½” wide)
I) #2 Stone (approx. 1 ½” to 3” wide)
J) Riprap (approx. 3" to 6" wide)
K) Riprap (approx. 6" to 12" wide)
L) Riprap (approx. 12" to 18" wide)
M) Concrete Pieces
N) Granite
O) #1 Size
P) #2 Size
Q) #3 Size
R) #4 Size.

All materials must meet Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications and be free from trash and foreign matter. Vendors must deliver a minimum of ten loads per day as specified in the purchase order.

Period of Performance
The Term Agreements will be effective upon execution and shall expire after twelve months unless renewed for up to three additional years upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within FFS Region One, which includes Districts 1, 2, and 4 in Florida.
