The Florida Department of Transportation requests competitive sealed bids/proposals/replies for the procurement of:
FDOT Approved Products List (APL) Traffic Equipment
All Bidders, Proposers, and Respondents must be registered in the State of Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system. NOTE: In accordance with section 287.057(23), Florida Statutes, respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact, between the release of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency posting the notice of intended award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch concerning any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the procurement officer or as provided in the solicitation documents. Violation of this provision may be grounds for rejecting a response.

MFMP Transaction Fee:
All payment(s) to the vendor(s) resulting from the contract(s) established by this competitive solicitation WILL be subject to the MFMP Transaction Fee unless the transaction is exempt from the Transaction Fee pursuant to Rule 60A-1.032, Florida Administrative Code.
Scrutinized Companies Lists
Section 287.135, Florida Statutes, prohibits agencies from contracting with companies, for goods or services over $1,000,000, that are on either the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List or the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List. Both lists are created pursuant to section 215.473, Florida Statutes. A vendor on either Scrutinized List may not bid on, submit a proposal for, or enter into or renew a contract for commodities and/or contractual services of $1 million or more.

Background
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is requesting competitive sealed bids/proposals/replies for the procurement of FDOT Approved Products List (APL) Traffic Equipment. All Bidders, Proposers, and Respondents must be registered in the State of Florida’s MyFloridaMarketplace system. Out-of-State corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships must be authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Work Details
The contract will establish a two-year contract for the purchase of FDOT Approved Products List (APL) Traffic Equipment. The contract will become effective on the date the successful bidder(s) receives an acceptance letter from the Department and will expire two years from that date. The commodities identified in this Invitation to Bid will be subject to the availability of identical commodities as provided by mandatory Department of Management Services' State Contract(s). The bid opening agenda includes opening remarks, public input period, and bids opened at conclusion of public input or 15 minutes.
Period of Performance
The contract will have a two-year period of performance.
