Demolition - 215 Avenue P NE

Background
The City of Winter Haven, through its Safe Neighborhoods Department, is seeking a licensed contractor with asbestos remediation experience to perform demolition services for a fire-damaged single-family residence located at 215 Avenue P NE.

The goal of this contract is to safely and effectively demolish the structure while adhering to environmental regulations, specifically the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Dismantling, removing, and disposing of the fire-damaged single-family residence (1,116 sf) and all accessory structures.
- Clearing all construction debris, junk, and trash from the lot.
- Removing foundations, walkways, and any wire fencing along the property.
- Performing site clean-up to ensure the area is free of debris.
- Providing clean fill dirt and regrading the site to prepare it for future construction.

The contractor must follow NESHAP regulations and submit a Notice of Demolition to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) prior to commencing work. Additionally, the contractor must obtain a demolition permit from the City of Winter Haven Building Department and disconnect all utility services under city supervision before starting demolition.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 45 days from receipt of order.
