Background
The Red Clay Consolidated School District, in collaboration with the Colonial School District, is seeking proposals for a Stop Arm Surveillance/Camera System for their bus fleet. This initiative aims to enhance student safety by monitoring and recording incidents involving school buses, particularly during loading and unloading times. The contract is part of the districts' commitment to ensuring the safety of students as they travel to and from school.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Stop Arm Surveillance/Camera System that includes:
- Installation of high-definition cameras on school buses to capture footage of vehicles violating stop arm laws.
- A monitoring system that allows real-time viewing and recording of incidents.
- Integration with existing bus systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintenance and support services for the installed systems.
- Training for district personnel on how to operate the system effectively.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will last for a period of 12 months, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.
