Interpretation and Translation Services - Foreign Languages

Background
The State of Delaware, through the Office of Management and Budget, is seeking interpretation and translation services for foreign languages. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify a vendor(s) and execute a contract for these services. The contract will cover the requirements for all State Agencies and shall be accessible to any School District, Political Subdivision, Municipality, Volunteer Fire Company or higher education entity receiving state funds.

Work Details
The vendor(s) shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor to supplement the State of Delaware’s need for on-site interpretation, telephonic interpretation, and written translation services. The solicitation is broken into several 'bid packages,' each representing a specific service. Vendors are not required to bid all packages nor all languages within the bid packages. The technical requirements of this RFP are stated in Appendix A and associated Bid Packages.

Period of Performance
Each Vendor’s contract shall be valid through August 31, 2025. Each contract may be renewed for three (3) one (1) year periods through negotiation between the Vendor and Government Support Services. The State reserves the right to extend this contract on a month-to-month basis for a period of up to three months after the term of the full contract has been completed.
