Background
New Castle County is seeking competitive sealed priced proposals for Electrical Repair Services under Bid# 26SA-313. The County's mission includes maintaining and improving public facilities. This contract aims to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems within its jurisdiction.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Electrical Systems Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services, which include:
- All electricians must have a State of Delaware Electrical license and NFPA 70E Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in installing and maintaining 13KV Substations and Switchgear in facilities operating 24/7.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Medium Voltage Unit Substations (13KV-33KV) and related equipment.
- Emergency response to issues at the Police Headquarters within one hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Preventive maintenance using Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera for all Power Distribution systems.
- Establishment of a database for all electrical equipment in county buildings.
- Repairs to lighting in county parks and facilities, including providing necessary equipment like bucket trucks.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2026. There is a possibility of extension for up to three additional years by mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout New Castle County, Delaware.
