BI-Q-733-ARC Aircraft Maintenance Hangar ADD/ALT (Military Department) 139 Tower Ave, Groton, CT The Military Department (MILDEP) is looking to complete predesign, design, and construction of the additions and alterations to an existing aircraft maintenance hangar & paint facility, located at their facility in Groton, CT. The facility will be designed with, but not limited to, the following functional areas: - Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Suppression/IT and telecommunications. - Restrooms, showers, locker room, storage, administration, classroom, library, warehouse, and tool room spaces. Flight planning and operations. - Shop Spaces, including but not limited to, sheet metal, power train, pneudraulics, blade repair, machine shop, graphics, welding, avionics repair, electronics, armaments, and unheated storage, paint booth, and blast media booth. - Aircraft Taxiway and aircraft parking apron modifications. - Full-time occupancy of 105 personnel and transient 357 personnel.

Additionally, the project involves aircraft taxiway and aircraft parking apron modifications to accommodate full-time occupancy of 105 personnel and transient 357 personnel.
