On-Call Roofing Services

Background
The City of West Haven is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call roofing services for city-owned properties and facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of roofing systems across various locations within the City.

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) outlines the scope of work, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria for potential bidders. The contract will be awarded for a multi-year period, specifically two years with an optional one-year extension based on satisfactory performance.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide on-call roofing services including:

1. Roof Repairs and Maintenance: Address leaks, patch holes, and perform routine maintenance.
2. Emergency Repairs: Respond to storm damage and other emergency repairs.
3. Roof Replacement: Replace sections or complete roofing systems as required.
4. Roof Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and provide written reports on roof conditions.
5. Waterproofing and Sealing: Apply waterproofing measures and ensure proper sealing around roof protrusions.
6. Gutter Maintenance: Clean, repair, and replace gutters and downspouts.
7. New Installations: Install new roofing systems as necessary.

All services must comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a period of two (2) years with an option for one (1) additional year based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various city-owned properties and facilities located within the City of West Haven.
