Old County Rd & Old County Circle Roadway Improvements

Background
The Town of Windsor Locks, CT is issuing a solicitation for roadway improvements to enhance the infrastructure of Old County Road and Old County Circle. The goal of this contract is to complete necessary improvements as outlined in the Contract Plans and Specifications, contributing to the overall mission of maintaining and upgrading local roadways for better safety and accessibility.

Work Details
The project involves several key tasks:

- Installation of new concrete curbed islands at the intersection of Old County Road and Old County Circle;
- Milling portions of both roads to a depth of 2 inches;
- Repaving the milled areas;
- Installation of new roadway signage;
- Application of pavement markings;
- Execution of other miscellaneous work as specified in the plans or directed by the Owner.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence on August 22, 2024, and will conclude by September 3, 2024.
