Medical Services Managed Service Provider & Vendor Management System

Background
The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish one or more contracts with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) that offers a Vendor Management System (VMS). This system must be operational at the time of proposal submission and is intended to support temporary medical services. The awarded contract will replace the existing State contract number 15PSX0114.

Work Details
The MSP will provide a Vendor Management System that supports the procurement and management of temporary medical services. The VMS must be fully operational upon proposal submission.

Additionally, the MSP is required to facilitate introductions and foster relationships between local staffing agencies and proposers during an event hosted by DAS on August 14, 2024, in Hartford, Connecticut. Attendance at this event is mandatory for proposers and staffing agencies, with confirmation required by August 1, 2024. Proposers must also demonstrate their ability to meet the objectives outlined in the RFP, including providing staffing agency partnerships and fulfilling geographic area requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will be effective from July 18, 2024, until August 29, 2024.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be Hartford, Connecticut.
