ITB 1158: Prosser Library Technology Package

Background
The Town of Bloomfield is seeking bids for the Prosser Library Technology Package, which aims to enhance the technological capabilities of the Prosser Public Library in Bloomfield, CT. The project involves significant technological improvements, including audiovisual systems and related infrastructure. The Town's mission is to provide a modernized library experience that meets community needs through advanced technology.

Work Details
The contract includes the installation and configuration of various audiovisual systems as detailed in Attachment A. Key components include:

1. Community Room 114: Installation of an electric screen/projector, sound reproduction systems (wireless and hardwired microphones), AVoIP video distribution, PTZ camera for video conferencing, ADA compliant assisted listening system, and wireless casting capabilities.

2. Teens 106: Setup of USB camera and speakerphone for video conferencing, HDMI switching for gaming consoles, ceiling speakers, and necessary equipment storage.

3. Collab 107: HDBT distribution with USB camera and speakerphone for video conferencing solutions.

4. Conference Room 218: BYOD video conferencing setup with multiple HDMI & USB inputs, auto-framing PTZ cameras, and wireless casting.

5. Public Address System: Integration with Owner’s VoIP for announcements.

6. Digital Signage: Installation of displays, mounts, and media players.

All installations must comply with applicable codes and standards, including coordination with other contractors for electrical and structural requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by May 14, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Prosser Public Library located at 800 Bloomfield Avenue, Bloomfield, CT 06002.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in audiovisual system installation and integration. They must employ qualified personnel including CTS-D and CTS-I certified engineers throughout the project duration. Bidders are required to provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the ITB documentation. Additionally, all proposals must include a completed IRS Form W-9.
