BI-T-626-ARC Heublein Tower Preservation and Restoration Study Tower Road Simsbury, CT 06070 For this Study, DAS/CS is seeking the services of a highly talented and experienced Architectural / Historic Preservation Consultant team. The team will provide historic preservation programming and condition assessment services to the DAS/CS in support of the Heublein Tower Preservation & Restoration Program located at Talcott Mountain State Park, Tower Road in Simsbury, CT. The pre-design services shall inform and develop scope for the full preservation, repair, restoration and life-cycle extension design and construction project that is planned to follow the study.
Background
The Heublein Tower Preservation and Restoration Study is issued by the Department of Administrative Services/Construction Services (DAS/CS) in Connecticut. The goal of this contract is to engage a highly skilled Architectural/Historic Preservation Consultant team to support the preservation and restoration efforts of the Heublein Tower located at Talcott Mountain State Park. This initiative aims to ensure the tower's historical integrity while planning for its future maintenance and restoration.

Work Details
The selected consultant team will provide historic preservation programming and condition assessment services. These pre-design services are intended to inform and develop the scope for a comprehensive preservation, repair, restoration, and life-cycle extension design and construction project that will follow the study. The work will include detailed assessments of the tower's current condition and recommendations for necessary repairs and restorations.
