Mount Ouray SFU - Insulate Nurse Basin Building

Background
The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is undertaking a project to insulate the Nurse Basin Building at Mount Ouray State Fish Unit. The goal of this contract is to enhance the building's thermal efficiency by replacing existing metal roof and wall panels with composite metal insulated panels. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to maintain and improve state parks and wildlife facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Remove and dispose of existing metal roof and wall panels (6,800 SF).
2. Remove and reset existing doors and gutters (1 LS).
3. Remove and protect existing windows and louvers (1 LS).
4. Furnish and install composite insulated metal roof panels, 26 Gauge, R-25 rated (3,020 SF).
5. Furnish and install composite insulated metal wall panels, 26 Gauge, R-15 rated (3,780 SF).

Optional: Furnish and install two 12’W x 10’H insulated overhead doors (2 EA). All work must comply with the specifications outlined in the project documents.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, tentatively set for October 15, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Mount Ouray State Fish Unit located at 8825 County Road 160, Salida, CO 81201, Chaffee County.
