Boyd Lake SP - Hot Water Heater Replacement

Background
The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of water heaters at Boyd Lake State Park, specifically at the AB Bathroom and the Visitor Center.
This project aims to ensure that the facilities maintain an adequate hot water supply for visitors, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality recreational experiences in state parks.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Mobilization: Mobilize personnel, equipment, and supplies to the project site.

2. Remove and Dispose of Existing AB Bathroom Hot Water Heaters: Remove three existing water heaters, including all associated piping and insulation.

3. Furnish and Install New AB Bathroom Hot Water Heaters: Install three new water heaters along with a new recirculation pump, piping connections, insulation, valves, and plugs.

4. Optional Bid Item - Remove and Dispose of Existing Visitor Center Bathroom Hot Water Heater: Remove the existing water heater from the Visitor Center.

5. Optional Bid Item - Furnish and Install New Visitor Center Bathroom Hot Water Heater: Install a new water heater at the Visitor Center.

Period of Performance
The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, which is tentatively scheduled for March 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Boyd Lake State Park located at 3720 N County Road 11-C, Loveland, CO 80538-2307 in Larimer County.
