Zone B 2025 - Roadside Landscape Maintenance Services

The Town of Danville is seeking proposals for a contract for landscape maintenance services, specifically for Zone B. The intent is to establish long-term relationships with qualified contractors to ensure quality service to the residents. Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for landscape maintenance services in Zone B. This includes turf maintenance, weed control, plant maintenance, plant installation, and pest management. Specific tasks include:

- Turf maintenance: mowing, trimming, fertilization, pest control. Mowing frequency varies seasonally.

- Weed control: maintaining landscaped areas and pathways free of weeds using chemical or mechanical methods.

- Shrub and ground cover maintenance: monthly inspections and pruning as needed.

- Fertilizing shrubs and ground covers twice a year.

- Plant installation on an extra work basis.

- Pesticide application in compliance with IPM principles.

Locations include various roadside landscapes with approximate inventories detailed in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028. The Town may cancel the contract with 120 days written notice or for unsatisfactory performance with 60 days notice. There are options to renew the contract for two additional one-year periods if performance is satisfactory.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various locations within Zone B of the Town of Danville, California. Specific areas include Camino Tassajara and other designated roadside landscapes.
