Window and Pressure Washing Services for State-Owned Buildings

Background
The State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating state buildings and grounds statewide. This procurement is for Window and Pressure Washing Services for state-owned buildings, aimed at ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for annual internal and external window washing and external power washing services at twelve designated locations. The specific services include:
1. Annual interior window washing.
2. Annual exterior window washing.
3. Annual exterior pressure washing.
4. Cleaning of all glass panels over and under windows, ensuring removal of dirt, water streaks, and hard water spots.
5. Reporting any building deficiencies during cleaning operations.
6. Compliance with environmental standards for cleaning products used.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is three (3) years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various state-owned buildings located in Sacramento, CA, including the Agriculture Building, Energy Commission Building, CADA Building, Bateson Building, Bonderson Building, Attorney General Childcare Building, CALNET, Daycare and Subterranean Building, DOJ Broadway, Franchise Tax Board Buildings, Central Plant, and Santa Rosa State Building.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Class C-61 Limited Specialty license and a D-38 Sand and Water Blasting license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance covering general liability, commercial automobile insurance, and worker’s compensation. Bidders are required to document a minimum 3% participation goal for Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE).
