Video Remote Interpreting and Translation Services

Background
The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, is seeking proposals for Video Remote Interpreting and Translation Services.
The goal of this contract is to provide essential communication services that facilitate access to justice for individuals with limited English proficiency or who are deaf or hard of hearing.
This initiative aligns with the court's mission to ensure fair and equitable access to legal proceedings.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) Services for the top VRI languages including American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish, as well as twelve other requested languages such as Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese), Arabic, Russian, Farsi, Vietnamese, Swahili, Somali, Korean, French, and Portuguese.
2. Document Translation Services for Spanish and the twelve other languages specified above. Additionally, translation services for all other languages specified in Attachment B – Scope of Work and any unlisted languages that may be required under the resultant contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be defined in the final agreement but is expected to cover multiple years depending on the needs of the court and availability of funding.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within the jurisdiction of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange.
