Background
CalOptima Health is a public agency created by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to offer health insurance programs for low-income children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities.
It is the largest health insurer in Orange County, providing coverage through MediCal, OneCare, and PACE programs.
The goal of this contract is to source, screen, and provide qualified professional, technical, operational, clinical, and administrative personnel as temporary help.
Work Details
The vendor will provide staffing services for various positions ranging from entry-level to upper-management across multiple categories including healthcare (licensed positions), accounting/finance, actuarial services, information technology, engineering, and administrative roles.
Specific job categories include:
- Healthcare (Licensed Positions) such as Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy (OT/PT), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Therapists (LMFT), Medical Case Managers (RN or LVN), Clinical Nursing (PACE) (RN or LVN), Medical Assistants (MA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Physicians/Surgeons (MD or DO), Psychology (PSA), and Psychiatrists (MD or DO).
The vendor must ensure candidates meet all qualifications including necessary licenses and certifications.
They are also responsible for pre-screening candidates which includes verifying education, licensing status, background checks, and conducting drug testing as required.
Additionally, the vendor will manage personnel administration including compliance with labor laws and training on timekeeping systems.
Period of Performance
The expected duration of the initial agreement is one year with options to extend for two additional one-year terms.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at CalOptima Health's facilities located in Orange County, California.
