Temporary Healthcare Staffing Services RFP 5249923

Background
The State of California, Department of General Services-Procurement Division (DGS-PD) is conducting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish mandatory Master Service Agreements (MSA) for Temporary Healthcare Staffing Services (THSS) for Temporary Healthcare Provider Personnel (THPP).

The THSS MSA will be mandatory for all State of California governmental agencies subject to DGS oversight that seek to acquire temporary healthcare staffing. The contract aims to address recruitment challenges faced by various healthcare positions and facilities, particularly in rural communities. The term of the MSAs resulting from the RFP will be for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extending for two additional one-year options, totaling a maximum cumulative term of five years.

Work Details
Contractors shall provide qualified and experienced THPP across 10 defined regions in California, which include various counties. Each region encompasses multiple Healthcare Groups consisting of 45 THPP classifications such as Audiologist, Clinical Social Worker, Dentist, Registered Nurse, and more.

Proposers must submit proposals for at least one region and one Healthcare Group while covering all THPP classifications within that group. The rates for services provided will be specified in the Rate Sheet attached as Exhibit B.1.

Period of Performance
The initial period of performance is three years from the date of contract award, with options to extend for two additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement between the Contractor and the State.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various counties in California as specified in the RFP, including regions such as Superior California, North Coast, San Francisco Bay Area, and others.
