Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch Replacement Services

Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch Replacement Services at the St. Helena Headquarters.

The purpose of this contract is to ensure reliable power supply through the installation of a new standby generator and an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), in compliance with State Fire Marshal approved plans and specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees for the installation of a standby generator and an ATS. This includes:
- Removal and disposal of the old generator.
- Installation of the new standby generator and ATS according to approved plans.
- Obtaining all necessary air quality control permits.
- Start-up and commissioning of the new generator to ensure it is fully operational.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as detailed in the bid submission requirements.

The services will be performed at the St. Helena Headquarters located at 1199 Big Tree Road, St. Helena, CA 94574.
