RFQ-NUTRIA-0625-01, UTV Trailer

Background
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of a UTV trailer.

The purpose of this contract is to provide a trailer that will be used by CDFW employees to transfer a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV). The agency's mission includes the management and protection of California's fish, wildlife, and their habitats.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one UTV trailer that meets specific minimum specifications outlined in Attachment 1.

Key specifications include:
- Overall dimensions must be between 12’ – 14’ in length and 8’ – 9’ in width, capable of accommodating a John Deere Crossover Utility Vehicle XUV865M.
- The trailer must have a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of a maximum of 2,999 lbs., single axle, a 2” coupler, and a minimum 2,000 lbs. flip-jack.
- It should feature metal flooring, LED lighting, at least four tie-down/anchor points, and include a spare tire and mount as well as an integrated ramp gate.

Additionally, all equipment provided must be new and the latest model in current production.

Period of Performance
The delivery date for the UTV trailer is set for January 3, 2025, with receipt of equipment to be completed within 90 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Quotes must remain valid for a minimum of 60 days after issuance.

The delivery location for the UTV trailer is specified as the California Department of Fish and Wildlife at 2109 Arch Airport Rd., Stockton, CA 95206.
