RFQ# 2024239 Vocus S CI-TOF mass spectrometer with PTR and Aim Reactors

Background
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is seeking to procure a Vocus S Chemical Ionization Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer (CI-TOF) with PTR and Aim reactors. This equipment is intended for measuring air toxics, particularly trace-level volatile organic and inorganic compounds (VOCs and VICs) at stationary monitoring sites across California. The precision and accuracy of the instrument will be validated against laboratory measurements of species such as Ethylene Oxide (EtO). This validation will help assess the capability of real-time toxic monitoring instruments for future continuous air toxic monitoring in California.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of one (1) Vocus S CI-TOF mass spectrometer along with necessary accessories. The specifications include:
- Measurement capabilities for air toxics, focusing on trace-level VOCs and VICs.
- The instrument must be capable of real-time monitoring and provide accurate data comparable to laboratory measurements.
- Delivery of the equipment must occur within 45 working days after receipt of the purchase order.
- All freight, shipping, and handling fees must be included in the unit price, with delivery being FOB Destination.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to begin upon execution of the purchase order, with a delivery timeline set for 45 working days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered to specified locations within California as agreed upon by both parties.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
