RFP Primary 10207530 Exhibit Design and Fabrication Services

Background
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) of the State of California is seeking qualified firms to provide professional Exhibit Design and Fabrication Services. This initiative aims to enhance water education through interactive exhibits at various visitor centers across California, including Lake Oroville, Romero Overlook, and Vista del Lago.

The contract's goal is to create long-term museum-quality exhibits and temporary displays that effectively communicate critical messages about water management, climate change, and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and expertise necessary for the design and fabrication of exhibits. Specific services include: concept design and development; fabrication; on-site maintenance and repair; renovation; and installation of final exhibits as per specifications in Exhibit A (Scope of Work).

The contractor must also accommodate varying requests from DWR's clients throughout the contract term. The work will be performed at DWR visitor centers and various locations throughout California.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of this agreement is three (3) years, starting from August 2025.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at the following locations: Lake Oroville Visitor Center in Oroville, Romero Overlook Visitor Center in Gustine, Vista del Lago Visitor Center in Gorman, Delta Administration Lobby in Byron, and various other locations throughout California.
