Rfp - Polinsky Children's Center (PCC) Outpatient Services

Background
The County of San Diego's Health and Human Services Agency is seeking proposals for outpatient services at the Polinsky Children's Center (PCC).
The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive mental health services to children and youth, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
The PCC serves a vulnerable population, and the County aims to enhance the quality of care provided through this solicitation.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
- Operationalizing outpatient mental health services at PCC, including screening and assessing children/youth within 24 hours of obtaining consent.
- Coordinating with Child and Family Well Being partners and PCC county staff to support emotional needs during their stay.
- Providing rehabilitation staff coverage for a minimum of 30 hours per week in identified cottages.
- Developing a program schedule that includes clinician and rehabilitation coverage seven days a week.
- Implementing crisis support services to de-escalate situations and maintain safety.
- Ensuring that the staffing structure supports the diverse population at PCC while achieving program goals.
- Submitting a completed Linguistic and Cultural Diversity Plan that outlines hiring practices reflecting the cultures served.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to be an initial base period of one year, with four one-year options for renewal.

Services will be performed at the Polinsky Children's Center located in San Diego, California.
