Background
The City of Dublin is seeking proposals for pool maintenance and basic waterslide maintenance services for the Wave Aquatic Center, a 31,000-square-foot facility located at Emerald Glen Park in Dublin, California.

The Wave features a boardwalk-themed waterpark with amenities including a six-waterslide tower, an aquatic play structure, a sports pool, and an indoor natatorium. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of these aquatic facilities year-round.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for ongoing aquatic facilities maintenance at the Wave. Services include:
- Daily oversight of maintenance operations
- Regularly scheduled pool cleaning
- Water chemistry management
- Equipment monitoring
- Preventative maintenance
- Part replacement and repairs
- Documentation of repairs within five days detailing who made the repairs, dates, and scope of repairs.

Specific areas requiring attention include:
1. Natatorium: 160,000-gallon heated indoor pool used for swim school and water exercise.
2. Paul McCreary Sports Pool: 286,006-gallon heated outdoor pool for competitive swimming.
3. Waterslide Tower: Features six waterslides totaling 11,385 gallons.
4. Splash Zone: An aquatic play structure for children with various interactive features.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence in February 2025 and run through June 2028, with an option for a two-year extension.
