RFI for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Certification

Background
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is the largest municipal utility in the United States, serving approximately 4 million residents. It provides electric service to over 1.6 million customers and water service to more than 700,000 connections. The new CEO aims to transform LADWP by fostering a culture of continuous process improvement through employee training in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.

Work Details
LADWP is seeking information on Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification services. Interested parties are requested to provide details on their capabilities and pricing models for such training, including:

- Average cost per person
- Training format (in-person, virtual, hybrid)
- Duration of training required for certification
- Components included in the certification program
- Certification requirements
- Class size limits
- Access to training materials post-training
- Any consulting services offered.

Additionally, information about instructor qualifications, experience in government institutions and utilities, support provided post-training, and methods for ensuring student completion of certification is requested.

Period of Performance
Responses to this RFI are due by January 30, 2025. The RFI was released on January 9, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in locations relevant to LADWP's operations within the City of Los Angeles.
