Background
The Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Services Division (RESD), Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Sonoma Lake Napa Unit Headquarters and Glen Ellen Fire Station project.
This project aims to relocate the facility for the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in Eldridge, Sonoma County, California.
The estimated cost of construction is approximately $251,250,000.00.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide professional construction management services for the design-build construction of a new CalFire Lake Napa Unit Headquarters and Glen Ellen Fire Station.
The project includes:
- Administration building
- Emergency Operations Center (EEC) building
- Auto shop
- Service center
- Training building
- Captains Barracks
- Training tower
- Communications tower
- Fire pump test pit
- Generator/pump and storage building
- Self-contained breathing apparatus recharge building
- Radio vault/repair building
- Apparatus/barracks building for the fire station
- Dozer/mobile command center transport building
- Fitness building
- Flammable storage building.
Additionally, the scope includes vehicular bridges, a roadway constructed to local improvement standards with related traffic signals, an interchange connection to Highway 12, a helipad, site work, utilities, and demolition of existing structures and roadways.
The project will be designed for LEED Gold certification and Zero Net Energy (ZNE).

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a timeline that aligns with the construction phases as outlined in the project schedule.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at an approximately 55-acre site located in a largely rural area within the Sonoma Development Center (SDC) in Eldridge, Sonoma County, California.
