Contractor agrees to provide recycling services to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, parts, vehicles, licenses, permits, travel, and incidentals necessary to collect, remove, haul away, legally recycle paper and cardboard and provide quarterly tonnage report as described herein. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation For Price Quote (IFPQ) #22A1264 for recycling services. The purpose of this contract is to support Caltrans' mission by ensuring the proper collection and recycling of paper and cardboard materials, thereby promoting environmental sustainability within the agency's operations. This solicitation is specifically aimed at certified Small Businesses (SB), Micro Businesses, or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs), with a contract value estimated between $5,000 and $250,000.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, parts, vehicles, licenses, permits, travel, and incidentals required to collect, remove, haul away, and legally recycle paper and cardboard from designated Caltrans locations. The contractor must also provide quarterly tonnage reports. The specific services include:

1. Furnishing four (4) 3-cubic yard bins at 3400 R Street for recycling collection.
2. Furnishing three (3) 3-cubic yard bins at 1415 11th Street for monthly collection.
3. Collecting in-house recyclable materials at 1500 5th Street through physical collection by walking through facilities.
4. Furnishing three (3) 3-cubic yard bins at 1304 O Street for recycling.
5. Furnishing five (5) 3-cubic yard bins at 5900 Folsom Blvd for bi-monthly collection.
6. Furnishing two (2) 3-cubic yard bins and five (5) 2-cubic yard bins at FMP locations for collection.
7. Weekly in-house collection of recyclables from multiple FMP locations.
8. Providing additional dockside services as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on May 15, 2025, or upon approval by Caltrans and will expire on May 14, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various Caltrans locations within Sacramento County including:
- 1500 5th Street
- 3390 Lanatt Street
- 1415 11th Street
- 3400 R Street
- 5900 Folsom Blvd
- 1304 O Street
- Multiple locations on Alhambra Blvd.
