Background
The City of Long Beach, through its Department of Financial Management, is issuing a contract for the construction of the Belmont Plaza Pool project. This project aims to enhance recreational facilities in the area, aligning with the city's mission to provide quality community services and promote public health and wellness. The contract encompasses the construction of a new pool facility that will serve both instructional and recreational purposes.

Work Details
The project includes the following key components:
- A 12,926 square foot 50m x 25yd pool equipped for springboard diving.
- A 4,246 square foot combined instructional and recreational pool.
- An east entry building measuring 11,247 square feet, which will include support spaces for patrons and staff such as showers, lockers, restrooms, offices, and a multipurpose room.
- A west support building of 4,424 square feet providing additional amenities.
- Public access restrooms, equipment rooms, pool storage areas, and chemical rooms are also part of the facility's design.
