Pomona Gate Repair

Background
The Pomona Gate Repair project is issued by the State of California, Office of the Adjutant General, California Military Department. The mission of this project is to restore the functionality and reliability of the gate system at the Pomona Armory located at 1700 E. 1st Street, Pomona, CA 91766. The goal is to address key issues through targeted repairs and reinforcements, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions outlined in the Invitation for Bid (IFB).

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary for the Pomona Gate Repair. The work includes restoring the gate system's functionality and reliability by addressing key issues through targeted repairs and reinforcements. All work must comply with the terms, conditions, and requirements specified in this IFB.

Period of Performance
The contractor will be allowed 90 calendar days to complete this project. The start date will be established during a Job Start Meeting within 7 days after receipt of the fully executed contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Pomona Armory, located at 1700 E. 1st Street, Pomona, CA 91766.

Bidder Requirements
The prime contractor must possess a type C-13 - Fencing Contractor license or subcontract to one. Bidders must submit proposals based solely on the contract documents provided in this IFB. Additionally, bidders certified as a Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise (DVBE) or Small Business (SB) may receive bid preferences as outlined in the solicitation.
