Personal Protect Equipment (PPE) Rental and Laundry Services

Background
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) of the State of California is seeking bids for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Rental and Laundry Services. This contract aims to provide essential safety gear for personnel involved in hydroelectric, mobile, and heavy equipment operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations set by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The anticipated term of this agreement is three years.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental, laundering, and training services for Personal Protective Clothing and items including Flame Resistant (FR) and Arc-rated clothing. Specific services include:
- Weekly pick-up and delivery of garments
- Maintenance of garment integrity
- Tracking each garment while in possession
- Providing a customer portal for real-time account visibility
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The contractor must also furnish documentation demonstrating their capability to fulfill these requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on November 1, 2025, with a duration of three years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Department of Water Resources San Luis Field Division located at 31770 Gonzaga Road, Gustine, California 95322.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California City or County Business License. They are required to submit a written company policy on maintaining garment integrity, a procedure for tracking garments, a sample invoice format, and a customer portal web address. Additionally, bidders must comply with Small Business Program requirements if applicable.
