Parking Lot Repair, Seal and Restripe Services -CHP- 23C285005

Background
The Department of Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Parking Lot Repair, Seal and Restripe Services at Yuba Sutter Area Office. The contract is issued by the Department of California Highway Patrol, which aims to ensure safety and security in the designated area.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Parking Lot Repair, Seal and Restripe Services, including furnishing all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision. The services include applying asphalt seal covering on all asphalt surfaces, filling cracks over ¼” wide with pre-approved rubberized crack filler, replacement and reinstallation of broken concrete bumpers, realigning and pre-drilling loose bumpers, repainting existing painted curbs, re-striping all spaces and lines.
The work also involves patching and skin patching as well as applying asphalt overlay or skin patching. The contractor is responsible for cleaning the surface to be sealed of all loose dirt, dust, sand, and other foreign matter by power sweeping or a complete wash down with high pressure water if necessary. Additionally, the contractor must install precast concrete or solid recycled plastic wheel stops at specified locations.

Period of Performance
All work shall be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday unless other arrangements are approved by the CHP on-site contact.

Place of Performance
The services shall be performed at Yuba Sutter Area Office located at 1619 Poole Boulevard, Yuba City, CA 95993.
