Office Moving Services - Los Angeles

Background
The California Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking bids for Office Moving and Relocating Services for its Office of Legal Support (LSO) in Los Angeles. The DOJ's mission is to uphold justice and ensure the safety of the public. This contract aims to facilitate the relocation of office spaces efficiently and securely.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive office moving and relocating services, including:

1. Removal of free-standing or affixed office furniture, modular furniture, equipment, and supplies from the current location.

2. Transportation of items to a new location with placement as directed by DOJ staff.

3. Provision of labor, tools, equipment, materials, boxes, and supervision necessary for packing, moving, unpacking, and move management.

4. Disassembly and reassembly of office furniture as needed.

5. Disconnecting and reconnecting electronic services by qualified personnel.

6. Secure storage of property as required.

7. Transportation of confidential property with security measures if requested.

8. Removal and disposal of packing materials and debris post-move.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on April 1, 2025, and will last for three years until March 31, 2028, with potential extensions based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Department of Justice's Office located at 300 S. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.
