Background
The City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration (OCA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) on behalf of all City departments to procure Vehicle Rental Services.
The City has approximately 65 departments that require these services, which will be ordered through individual Purchase Orders or Task Orders during the contract term. The goal is to engage qualified suppliers to provide vehicle rental services that meet the diverse needs of various city departments.
Work Details
The contract will cover vehicle rental services as specified in Attachment 4, Bid Sheet Template.
Bidders must provide a completed Bid Sheet with their offers. The City estimates an average need of 250 rentals per month and requires evidence from bidders demonstrating their capacity to meet this demand.
Bidders must have branch locations in San Francisco and at or near San Francisco International Airport, as well as additional branch locations in specified California cities. Compliance with Green Purchasing Requirements is mandatory, and bidders are encouraged to engage diverse contracting teams.
Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is five (5) years, with no guarantee of a minimum amount of goods or services.
The total not-to-exceed amount for all contracts awarded under this solicitation is $15,000,000.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic limits of San Francisco and at designated locations including San Francisco International Airport and other specified California cities.
