Background
The State of California, Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) requires expert-level IT consulting services to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organizational functions. The services will involve monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing networked software and associated operating systems at CalVet.

The current infrastructure includes HP Servers, Nutanix, VMWare virtualization, HP Switches, Palo Alto Networks Firewall, and Infoblox for network/server operations. Additionally, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is used for patch management and imaging new devices. The goal is to improve the design and configuration of Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM), Operations Manager (SCOM), and Orchestrator.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Monitoring and maintenance of all networked software and operating systems.
2. Support for the existing infrastructure including HP Servers and Nutanix.
3. Optimization of network/server operations using current tools such as Palo Alto Networks Firewall and Infoblox.
4. Management of production backups with Rubrik to ensure data recovery capabilities.
5. Implementation improvements in SCCM for device patch management.
6. Design enhancements for SCSM, SCOM, and Orchestrator as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Further details are outlined in Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three (3) years from the date the contract is executed.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations associated with the California Department of Veterans Affairs.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must have a current approved Master Service Agreement (MSA) issued by the Department of General Services in the Technology Digital and Data Consulting category. Specifically, they must hold MSA# 5-22-70-25 with award categories '1- Senior Project Manager' and '3- Senior Technical Lead'. Offerors must also comply with all administrative requirements including submission of various certifications such as Offeror's Offer Certification, Preferences and Certifications, Declaration Forms, Commercially Useful Function certification, Payee Data Record (STD 204), and Secretary of State Certification.
