Moving, Storage, Surplus/Survey Removal And Recycling Services

Background
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is seeking contractors to provide moving, storage, surplus/survey removal, and recycling services for its field offices located in the Southern California region.

This contract aims to facilitate the efficient relocation and management of office assets as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The services are intended to support CDTFA's mission by maintaining operational continuity during relocations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for moving services. Specific tasks include:
- Packing
- Moving
- Transportation/delivery
- Unpacking
- Move management
- Removal and transport of excess or broken furniture
- Assembly and disassembly of modular furniture systems
- Storage of property in secured locations
- Removal of packing materials and debris
- Providing certified electricians for electrical disconnections

Services will be performed primarily during regular work hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) but may also occur after hours or on weekends as needed. The contractor must respond to emergency service requests within four hours.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from October 15, 2024, through October 30, 2026. There is an option for the CDTFA to extend the agreement for an additional year if necessary.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at various CDTFA field offices located throughout Southern California, specifically from Bakersfield to San Diego.
