Median Modifications at Foster City Blvd (CIP 301-635)

Background
The City of Foster City is issuing a contract for the Foster City Boulevard Median Modifications Project, identified as CIP 301-635. The project aims to enhance the median along Foster City Boulevard, ensuring improved traffic flow and safety for the community.

Work Details
The contractor will perform various tasks including:

1. Installation of 227 linear feet of new curb (Bridge).
2. Removal of 227 linear feet of existing curb.
3. Removal of 1,424 square feet of existing median pavers.
4. Implementation of traffic control measures (lump sum).
5. Erosion control measures (lump sum).
6. Resetting 20 square feet of median pavers.
7. Removal of 1,260 linear feet of existing striping.
8. Removal of 166 square feet of pavement markings.
9. Installation of new striping over 1,260 linear feet.
10. Installation of pavement markings (words/arrows) over 166 square feet.
11. Installation of 12-inch white pavement marking over 64 square feet.
12. Relocation of one traffic sign (each).
13. Mobilization costs (maximum 5% of total bid price, lump sum).
14. Off-haul services for 104 cubic yards.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on the date established in the Construction Services Agreement and must be completed within the specified timeframe.
