Landscape Clean Up - Long Beach Stearns CSMS & Long Beach (Redondo) Armory

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Landscape Clean Up located at Long Beach Stearns CSMS (3500 East Stearns Street, Long Beach, CA 90822) & Long Beach (Redondo) Armory (2200 Redondo Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90822). Work to include: Perform all landscape work, including the trimming and removal of trees and bushes, at the Long Beach Stearns CSMS and Long Beach (Redondo) Armory sites, ensuring compliance with the following specifications: remove all trees and bushes within five feet of designated fence lines, remove all palm trees including stumps, trim all remaining trees to maintain a minimum six-foot clearance above fence lines, clean up the sites, and dispose of all landscape debris, while adhering to local, state, and federal codes and ensuring no damage to items outside the scope of work. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 33905 - DO NOT OPEN. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 1/22/2025, at 2:00 PM at Long Beach Stearns CSMS located at 3500 East Stearns Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Afterwards, prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk at the Long Beach (Redondo) Armory located at 2200 Redondo Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90822. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Sergey Kinchak at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov. Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project. The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-27 - Landscaping Contractor license, or subcontract to one. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Sergey Kinchak, at Sergey.Kinchak@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 1/31/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 33905. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 2/13/2025 at 2:00 PM.
