Lakewood Interconnect Meter New Sce Service

Background
The Lakewood Interconnect Meter New SCE Service project is issued by the Long Beach Utilities Department, under the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners.

The mission of this project is to facilitate the receipt of power from Southern California Edison (SCE) to support equipment at the existing interconnection between Long Beach and Lakewood. The goal is to enhance utility services in the area by upgrading existing infrastructure.

Work Details
The work includes:
1) Receiving power from SCE for equipment at the interconnection;
2) Demolishing the existing solar panel, battery, and control panel;
3) Mobilization and demobilization;
4) Field verification and utility potholing;
5) Traffic control;
6) Selective site demolition;
7) Installation of raceway and boxes for electrical systems;
8) Construction of an SCE meter service pedestal, reinforced concrete pad, and guard posts;
9) Paving removal and resurfacing;
10) Completion of all other work as specified.

The project also includes a field order allowance of $15,000.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at the site located at 4025 Palo Verde Ave, Long Beach, CA 90808.
