Interior Pest Control Services and Bee Removal

Background
The City of Claremont, located in Los Angeles County, is seeking bids for Interior Pest Control and Bee Removal Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest control within various city buildings while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide monthly pest control services at various City buildings, including but not limited to: Police Department, Claremont Depot, City Hall, Community Services/Maintenance Yard, Joslyn Center, Blaisdell Building, Youth Activity Center, Larkin Park Community Building, Lewis Park Building, Taylor Hall, Cemetery Office, Hughes Community Center, and Garner House.

Services include total control of common indoor pests (ants, roaches, spiders, crickets) and external control of birds, gophers, and ground squirrels. Wood-destroying insects are excluded. Additionally, the contractor will collect and relocate bees from public rights-of-way as directed by the City. All materials used must be EPA-approved. A monthly listing of chemicals applied must be submitted along with a quarterly log detailing chemical application. The contractor must notify the Supervisor 48 hours in advance before performing services.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the agreement will be for three years with two optional one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Claremont, California.
