Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has issued an Invitation For Price Quote (IFPQ) for Transcription Services. The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire transcription services for the department. The contract will include General Terms and Conditions (GTC 04/2017) and Contract Certification Clauses (CCC 04/2017) available at https://www.dgs.ca.gov/OLS/Resources/Page-Content/Office-of-Legal-Services-Resources-List-Folder/Standard-Contract-Language.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide transcription services to Caltrans. The services shall be performed at the contractor's business and provided to Caltrans via electronic/digital transfer.
The minimum qualifications for transcribers and electronic transcribers are specified in detail, including experience, typing speed, language proficiency, and software command.
The time schedule for the IFPQ includes the availability of the IFPQ to prospective bidders on February 28, 2024; the final date for quote submission on March 13, 2024; and the proposed award date on March 27, 2024.
