Contractor shall provide all permits, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits, incidentals, disposal, and travel necessary for the replacement and or repair of three (3) Caltrans roofs and gutters. Bidder must have at time of quote submittal and for the duration of the contract, either a valid, current Class A General Engineer Contractor license or a Class B General Building Contractor license or a C-39 Roofing Contractor license with a C2-Insulation and Acoustical License issued by the CSLB, for the type of work to be performed. At time of quote submittal, and for the duration of the Agreement, bidder and any subcontractor(s) shall be a certified SB, including a micro business (MB), SB for the purpose of public works (SB-PW), or a disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE). Bidder shall possess at the time of quote submittal, and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Caltrans will verify bidder s DIR registration, it is not necessary to provide a copy.
Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #07A6044 for Roof and Gutter Services in Los Angeles County. The purpose of this contract is to acquire construction services for the replacement and repair of roofs and gutters at various Caltrans facilities. This aligns with their mission to maintain and improve California's transportation infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all permits, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, incidentals, disposal, and travel necessary for the replacement and/or repair of three (3) Caltrans roofs and gutters. Specific tasks include:

1. Replacement of roofing (TPO), gutters, and repair of structural issues including temporary solar panel removal and replacement at Long Beach Maintenance Facility (Main Building).

2. Replacement of roofing (TPO), gutters, and repair of structural issues at Long Beach Maintenance Facility (Warehouse).

3. Replacement of roofing (tar), gutters, and repair of structural issues including replacing ceiling tiles at Artesia Maintenance Facility (Main Building).

4. Provision for unforeseen repairs as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work.

5. Maximum allowable expenditure for unforeseen materials, supplies, parts, fees, and permits will be reimbursed based on prior Contract Manager approval.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon the execution of the agreement and must be completed by the expiration date set forth in the agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Los Angeles County including Long Beach and Artesia Maintenance Facilities.
