IFPQ - Certified SB, including MB, SB-PW, or a DVBE Only - Roof and Gutter Maintenance, Repair, and Installation Services, Sacramento County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a contractor to provide roofing services, including maintenance, repair, and installation of roofing and gutters for various state facilities in Sacramento County. This contract is authorized under Government Code Section 14838.7, which allows for the award of public works contracts to certified small businesses (SB), micro businesses (MB), or disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE). The estimated value of the contract ranges from $5,000 to $461,000.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all permits, labor, materials, supplies, tools, parts, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide roofing services to Caltrans. Specific tasks include:

1. Repair and maintenance of roofing systems dating back to 1936.
2. Installation of new roofing and gutter systems as needed.
3. Services must be performed at designated Caltrans locations including Caltrans Headquarters, Trans Lab Facility, Caltrans Equipment Shop, and DOT Tot Childcare in Sacramento.
4. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on November 1, 2025 (estimate) and will expire on October 31, 2028 (estimate). Services are to be provided during normal business hours from Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding State holidays.

Services will be performed at various locations in Sacramento County including:
- Caltrans Headquarters at 1120 N Street
- Trans Lab Facility at 5900 Folsom Boulevard
- Caltrans Equipment Shop at 3400 R Street
- DOT Tot Childcare at 1630 12th Street.
