IFB - Unarmed Security Guard Services in Fresno, CA

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #06A3101 for unarmed security guard services in Fresno, CA.

The purpose of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of Caltrans facilities through the provision of uniformed security personnel. The agency aims to maintain a secure environment for its operations and personnel.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, supplies, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to deliver unarmed, uniformed security guard services.

Specific requirements include:
1) Providing three (3) Security Guards (SG) for 33,336 hours at 1352 West Olive Avenue, Fresno, CA 93728;
2) Providing three (3) SG for 18,972 hours at 2015 East Shields Avenue, Suite 100, Fresno, CA 93726;
3) Providing one (1) Lead Security Guard (SGL) for 11,112 hours at the same location as item one;
4) Providing additional SG services for special events and after-hours work upon request by the Caltrans Contract Manager or designee.

The contractor must also comply with Government Code Section 19134 regarding wages and employee benefits.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution of the agreement and will continue until all services are completed as specified in the contract documents.
