Background
The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is dedicated to improving the health, safety, and economic well-being of over 18 million wage earners. They assist employers in complying with state labor laws and aim to enhance the effectiveness of their programs and services while increasing public access. The agency is seeking a contractor to install VoIP and data lines along with the necessary equipment in their new office space located at Suite 3015, 2550 Mariposa Mall, Fresno, CA 93721.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing VoIP and data lines in DIR's new office space. This includes:

1. **VoIP Cabling**: Thirty (30) pulls from the Independent Distribution Frame (IDF) in Suite 3015 to cubicles/offices, with cables tested and labeled at both ends. Two (2) Category 6 cables for VoIP and two (2) for Data will be used.

2. **Data Cabling**: Thirty-Two (32) pulls from IDF in Suite 4000 to cubicles/offices in Suite 3015.

3. **Uplinks**: Two (2) copper uplink pulls from the server room in Suite 3015 to the server room located on the 4th floor.

4. **Network Rack**: Utilize existing rack and power in Suite 3015’s IDF; verify existing power receptacles.

5. **Horizontal Ladder Rack**: Provide all necessary hardware for mounting and earthquake bracing.

6. **Cable Management**: Implement both vertical and horizontal cable management systems.

7. **Patch Panels**: Supply and install a 2 x 2U 48-port patch panel in Suite 3015.

8. **Cable Termination**: Terminate all horizontal cabling at outlets using T568B wiring standard, providing sufficient patch cords for connectivity.

9. **Power Distribution Units (PDUs)**: Install vertical-mounted style PDUs in IDF with specified power strips.

10. **Labeling**: Ensure all cables are labeled according to ANSI/EIA/TIA606 standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term is six (6) months, starting from April 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at DIR's new office located at Suite 3015, 2550 Mariposa Mall, Fresno, CA 93721.
