IFB Number CSSSA24106 School Transportation Services

Background
The California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) Number CSSSA24106 to procure school transportation services.

The CSSSA aims to provide comprehensive educational experiences for students in the arts, and reliable transportation is essential for facilitating their participation in programs. The contract will encompass all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and permits required to deliver these services effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, transportation, equipment, permits, licenses, and any other items necessary to obtain school transportation services.

This includes ensuring that all drivers possess the required California Special Driver Certificate with School Bus Driver and/or Special Pupil Activity Bus (SPAB) authorization and a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License. The contractor must also ensure that they can begin work within ten business days of contract award and replace any personnel who cannot fulfill their duties with comparably qualified individuals.

The selected contractor must provide proof of insurance as per the requirements outlined in Exhibit E of the IFB.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to commence on April 1, 2025, and will end on March 31, 2028. Any changes to this period must be documented through a written amendment to the agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in California as required by the CSSSA.
